Ropetackle becomes Basepoint

Basepoint Business Centres bought the Ropetackle building a couple of years ago, and have rebranded it under their name, as you can see in the above video.

Some people are up in arms, and Mike Mendoza has started a petition to have the change reversed.

Personally, I think it’s a bit of a shame that a historic name has been downplayed for the sake of a corporate brand, but it’s not a huge deal. How about you?
